Perth, Part Two: Kids' Workshop at Bunnings

One of the things I love about Perth is how kid-friendly it is. Parks, wonderful outdoor playgrounds, free indoor playgrounds in most malls, activities for kids in most restaurants, kids' meals arriving first as a matter of course...

One of the places we visited while in Perth was Bunnings Warehouse. This is a DIYer's dream! They carry every thing, including the kitchen sink! Of course, there is a children's playground where the kiddos can amuse themselves while Mum or Dad shop.

We happened to be there on a Sunday, and noticed that they were having a Kid's Workshop in a few minutes, so we hung around for that.

They were making mosaic coasters. The children had a choice of star, circle or square. Little Man chose to work on a circle coaster. In addition to their shape of choice, they were also provided with colourful glass mosaic pieces, white glue, and the cutest kid-sized Bunnings apron.

It was then time to let the creative juices flow!
Little Man and his finished product!
