In an effort to diversify the menu, I decided to get the kids to make their own pizzas for snack time.
Step 1: Place the wrap on an oven-proof plate or baking tray.
Step 2: Spread sauce onto wrap. We also made a white pizza (sans sauce) for more options.
Step 3: Choose fillings to spread onto wrap.

Step 4: Cover liberally with grated cheese.

Step 5: Bake in oven until nicely browned. I think they were in a 180 degree Celcius oven for about 8 to 10 minutes.

Step 6a: Wait as patiently as you can while it cools down.

Step 6b: Take some photos while waiting.

Step 7: Eat!

Ingredients:
Wraps (I used a garlic wrap for more flavour)
Cheese
Tomato Sauce
Diced tomatoes (skinned and seeded)
Diced mushrooms
Diced pineapples
Diced protein (I happened to have fishballs, so I used those.)

The pizza that you made looks so yummy.. I do make pizza for my kids to eat sometimes but we use dough and do it from scratch :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, that's why it entitled 'easy' pizza.
DeleteBut I'm very sure my Little Man would love to play with pizza dough. I'll try that some day. :)
Oh yum...craving pizza now... :-/
ReplyDeleteHope you managed to satisfy your craving! :)
DeleteWe make pizza's out of wraps all the time! Kids love it and I appreciate the ease of them :)
ReplyDeleteI agree, just nice for a quick and easy snack. :)
DeleteI love this idea, mine aren't so keen on bbq or tomato sauce base so maybe I might try a cheese base. I want to eat them myself!
ReplyDeleteMy Little Man isn't too hot on tomato sauce either, which is why I made one without any. He loved it!
DeleteLove This idea! Thanks for sharing...
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! :)

ReplyDeleteThis is the quick and easy version. Also, my boy prefers 'crispy, crunchy', so this is perfect!
